Alison values providing people with a safe space to tell their story and support them to explore their feelings, challenges and goals. Alison has specific training in anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, grief, and personality disorders. She is trained in a range of other counselling methods, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and person-centred interventions. Alison can provide behaviour support plans for children experiencing challenging behaviours and feelings and has training in couples and families to support people to interact in new and more helpful ways.

She has used a range of treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Amber’s treatment method is to use the best-practice, evidence-based methods and work collaboratively with her clients to offer a service that creates practical change.

Bree is a registered psychologist and has experience in private practice, work cover and employee assistance programs. She works closely with her clients to understand their goals and recognises the importance of individually focused care. Bree works with people (13+ years of age) across a range of psychological presentations including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief & loss, interpersonal issues, work-related matters, PTSD, personality disorders, and bipolar affective disorder Bree is trained in evidence-based psychological interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, emotion focused therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy. Bree is training to become an accredited EMDR practitioner with trauma and stress disorders being her special area of interest.

She is a clinical psychology registrar and has nearly 15 years of experience delivering evidence-based interventions. Lauren focuses on supporting people with difficulties related to trauma, anxiety, depression, ‘stuckness’, self-worth, and the broader range of social and personal challenges including anger and stress. At this time, Lauren is only working with people who are over 18 years of age. Lauren has been trained in areas such Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Lauren often conceptualises from a Schema Therapy lens, uses this framework in her treatment approach. Lauren is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is also an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) approved supervisor and enjoys providing support to provisional and registered psychologists. Mairead has extensive experience working with individuals with a range of concerns including anxiety and depression, and with couples seeking support with relationship difficulties. Mairead’s warm, down to earth approach aims to support her clients with a safe, non-judgemental space to address concerns. Mairead is trained in a range of counselling methods including cognitive-behavioral therapy (working with negative thoughts) and Mindfulness (relaxation training). Mairead has specifically trained in Core Process Therapy which assists clients to work with difficult emotions in order to encourage acceptance, resilience and change. Mairead is also trained in Imago Therapy which is a means of resolving conflict in relationships that seeks to build stronger relationships and foster growth and change.

She has implementing individual and family intervention programs for pre-school and school aged children to promote children’s psychological and social development. Sebastian is a provisional psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with children (7+ years), adolescents and adults. He has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, panic, psychosomatic symptoms, and relationship issues. Sebastian also has particular experience in anxiety induced gastrointestinal disturbances (IBS and IBD). He values offering his clients a respectful and empathic space and sees working together as critical for lasting change. Sebastian uses evidenced based methods to work through the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, that contribute to and maintain his client’s difficulties. He has received specialised training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute, and Clinical Hypnosis through the Milton Erickson Foundation. Along with his training in psychology, Sebastian is also qualified as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher by the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As a provisional psychologist, Sebastian is currently not eligible for Medicare or private health fund rebates. To account for this, our session fee for provisional psychologists is lower than that for registered psychologists.
