Sebastian is a Registered Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with children (7+ years), adolescents and adults. He has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, panic, psychosomatic symptoms, and relationship issues. Sebastian also has particular experience in anxiety induced gastrointestinal disturbances (IBS and IBD). He values offering his clients a respectful and empathic space and sees working together as critical for lasting change.
Sebastian uses evidenced based methods to work through the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, that contribute to and maintain his client’s difficulties. He has received specialised training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute, and Clinical Hypnosis through the Milton Erickson Foundation. Along with his training in psychology, Sebastian is also qualified as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher by the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
