Gizella brings over a decade of experience in community mental health and private practice to her work with clients. Her deep understanding of challenging situations is complemented by compassion, empathy, and extensive clinical and practical knowledge. Gizella specializes in providing therapeutic and psychosocial recovery interventions to adolescents (16+) and adults facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, trauma, chronic pain, substance misuse, interpersonal difficulties, overwhelming emotions, poor self-esteem, and grief/bereavement. Gizella uses a range of evidence-based interventions and therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based practices, Person-Centred Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She values collaboration with her clients to develop a shared understanding of their presenting difficulties and fits interventions to meet individual needs.
