Tina S.Y. Chen holds TCM qualifications from both Chengdu University of TCM and UTS. Practising acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Sydney since 1998, Tina has over 25 years of clinical experience and exemplary treatment outcomes. She is a former UTS clinic supervisor and currently a clinic supervisor in SITCM Clinic. She loves sharing her clinical experiences with students.
Tina provides detailed consultations to ensure an accurate diagnosis before prescribing simple but effective acupuncture and herbal prescriptions tailored to the patient’s condition. Treatment is effective for conditions including but not limited to: Pain related disorders, sport injuries, CFS, anaemia, weight loss, menopausal syndrome and infertility, PMT, anxiety, depression, insomnia, IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), IBS, constipation or diarrhoea, reflux, ulcers, gallstones, diabetes, kidney disorders, hay-fever, cough, asthma, eczema, psoriasis, peripheral facial paralysis (Bell’s palsy), vertigo, migraines, allergies, varicose veins, multiple sclerosis, tinnitus, assisting smooth labour. She has a particular interest in helping patients with side effects from cancer treatments.
Within Sydney, Tina has worked in various clinics ranging from: Chinese Ginsengs & herbs, UTS TCM clinic, Balmain Chinese Herbal Centre and United Medical Centre. Tina has been practicing at Westfield Eastgardens for over 20 years. She is currently working in her Maroubra clinic and as an acupuncturist at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre in St Vincent's Hospital.
