Saima is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has extensive experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and across all age groups, including children, adolescents and adults. Saima has worked across a range of settings including schools, non-government organisations, charities and private practice.
Saima has a particular interest in providing trauma-focused therapy and is experienced in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She works with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including complex trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based interventions including:
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
In addition to trauma therapy. Saima also provides IQ/Cognitive Assessments for children and adolescents, supporting families in understanding their child's cognitive strengths and challenges.

Outside her professional work, Saima enjoys spending time with family and friends and find gardening very therapeutic and grounding activity.
