Patricia is a registered Psychologist with AHPRA and a member with the Australian Psychology Society (MAPS). Patricia has over 20 years’ experience and previously worked with adolescents who presented with anxiety, depression and psychosis in Transcultural Mental Centre. Patricia has facilitated the Triple P Parenting Program within the Western Sydney area to provide support to parents and their young children.
Currently Patricia is working with Starlight Psychology and in both primary and secondary school settings to provide counselling and support to students from kindergarten to year 12 with a focus on developing their resilience, managing stress and anxiety, communication skills, regulating their emotions, friendship skills, conflict resolution skills, social skills, building their confidence and self-esteem. She has a collaborative approach with teaching staff and parents regarding student’s learning and emotional wellbeing through developing support plans, risk assessments, safety plans, administering psychometric assessments to identify learning difficulties and individual personalised plans.
