Overview

Jodie has been a valued member of the Launceston Dietetics team since 2021. Following seven years of studying and working in Canberra, she made the decision to return to her hometown to raise her young family. Jodie finds fulfillment in assisting families to make mealtimes easier and less stressful for everyone. Drawing from her own experience as a mother, she understands how challenging feeding little ones can be! Her empathetic and compassionate approach ensures that you feel empowered with the necessary tools to support your child's growth, development, and a positive relationship with food. Jodie has a special interest in supporting clients with ‘picky eating’ and ARFID and has completed additional training in this area. Jodie works with a variety of clients and is deeply committed to aiding individuals in enhancing their health and well-being by promoting a non-diet approach to eating. This approach focuses on cultivating a healthy relationship with both food and one's body. Additionally, Jodie brings substantial expertise in working with individuals managing chronic diseases, gastrointestinal issues and food intolerances. Jodie was awarded Tasmanian Disability Dietitian of the Year at the 2024 Tasmanian Disability Awards.
