Mr Neil Chisholm Counsellor

Neil is an empathetic person-centred, counsellor. He is gentle and non-judgemental. He brings a wealth of counselling experience from numerous organisations and pastoral care contexts. He has a keen appreciation of the ever-changing life-span issues clients are navigating, especially in today’s complex environment. Neil employs a broad spectrum of counselling modalities tailored for the challenges and situations clients are experiencing and the desired outcomes. These include but are not limited to, person-centred therapy, CBT, narrative, life-cycle, Gottman, psychosexual and emotionally focused therapy. He has a calm and welcoming demeanour and seeks to build a collaborative counselling relationship springing from trust and respect. Neil’s hope is that each client comes to a unique and deep understanding of who they are and what they can bring to their situation and experiences. He is available for individual and couples therapy after hours most days and weekends.
