Emily is a general psychologist who provides compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Having completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours, and recently a Master of Psychology, her extensive training has equipped her with a range of skills and knowledge of mental health and therapy. With experience across organisational settings, disability, and supporting adolescents and young adults, Emily has worked with diverse individuals experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem, family or relationship issues, and attachment issues. She is adept at working with a range of presentations including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). She offers evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals and improving their mental health. Emily fosters a warm, empathetic, and safe environment where clients feel heard and safe sharing personal challenges. Her collaborative approach empowers clients to explore meaningful options and next steps together. Emily adopts a person-centred approach to therapy, tailoring therapy to the unique needs and goals of the individual. She believes psychology is a tool for overcoming hardship and unlocking potential in every individual.
