Overview

Emily is a warm and nurturing psychologist with a special interest in perinatal and infant mental health. She provides support to individuals and families throughout the entire perinatal and early parenting journey, including those undergoing fertility treatment and families who have experienced perinatal loss.  Emily understands the challenges that can arise when trying to grow and raise family, and therefore provides a supportive and safe place for her clients to navigate through their experiences to create meaningful change. She brings a flexible approach to evidence-based practice by drawing on various therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and circle of security parenting (COSP) strategies. Emily is also trained in the treatment of perinatal anxiety and depression and has completed specialist training with the Perinatal Training Centre in perinatal mental health and perinatal loss.
