Hailing from New Zealand, Sonia has been a doctor for more than 20 years, completing her medical training at the University of Auckland in 2001, and obtaining Fellowships in General Practice and Public Health in 2012.
Described as warm and easy to speak with, Sonia takes a whole of person approach to her patients care, examining lifestyle factors, especially stress and metabolic health, and how these can be addressed to improve general wellbeing. She has a special interest in perimenopause and menopause given the tremendous impact this can have on living life to the full particularly when not recognised or given the appropriate evidence-based care.
Outside of work Sonia enjoys the inner-city Sydney lifestyle with her family and lovely labrador.
