Overview

Shanna is a clinical psychologist dedicated to perinatal mental health. She takes a warm and engaging approach to assist families to navigate the difficulties that can arise throughout the fertility and parenting journey. Shanna enjoys supporting all family members and invites partners, babies and children to participate in therapy. Shanna draws on therapy modalities that are person centred and emotion focused. She is trained in specialised therapies, including schema focused therapy, circle of security parenting (COSP) program strategies, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT) for couples. She has completed specialist training in Perinatal Mental Health with the Perinatal Training Centre. Shanna is also a trained COSP Program facilitator, is authorised to deliver non-directive pregnancy counselling, and is an AHPRA board approved supervisor.
