Dr Kath Turner GP (General Practitioner)

Kath has been working as a GP since 2005, with a particular interest in paediatrics and women’s health. Having graduated from Sydney University in 2002, Kath completed her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners following training stints in Broken Hill, the Hunter, Sydney’s Inner West and an inner Sydney Sexual Health clinic. Kath has expanded her interest and knowledge of women’s health since joining the Australian Menopause Society. Her involvement has heightened her awareness of the substantial gap in access to information and support for women during the transformative phase of menopause. She is known for a compassionate and patient-centred approach and, through education, she aims to provide women the tools to make informed choices during this period. Kath lives in Sydney with her husband and 2 towering teenage boys and loves running through the National Park.
