Andrew is a registered psychologist and clinical registrar with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. His background includes work with government departments, private companies and not-for-profit organisations in a range of mental health, forensic, correctional and disability services settings.
Andrew has particular interest and experience in working with individuals who are experiencing difficulties with managing depression, anxiety, trauma, physical health issues, grief, and adjustment. He also specialises in working with people who have engaged in offending behaviours to understand and address their behaviour to live a more meaningful, offence-free life.
Andrew works closely with each of his clients to develop a clear understanding of their current strengths and difficulties. Goals of therapy are then made collaboratively. He works within the frameworks of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based approaches as appropriate to the individual that he is working with.
