Aveena is a respiratory and sleep paediatrician who takes pride in providing tailored, holistic and evidence-based care for patients. She completed paediatric training in Melbourne, Australia. She is dual-trained in paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine. She completed her sleep fellowship at the Melbourne Children’s Sleep Centre and has since worked in her field at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Cabrini Health and Northern Hospital. She is passionate in caring for children and adolescents with complex and chronic medical conditions. Michelle is a General Paediatrician, Researcher and Global Health Specialist, and is passionate about patient centred, culturally sensitive, quality care that upholds patient voice and dignity. Consultant Specialist-Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics

We offer comprehensive assessments, expert diagnosis and ongoing care for both general and developmental paediatric concerns. If you have developmental & behavioural paediatric concerns, we offer initial assessments for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), Autism spectrum disorders (ASD), specific learning difficulties, global development delay, anxiety and other emotional & behavioural difficulties. For general paediatric concerns, we look after children of all ages from infants to adolescents (0 to 18 years). We offer a wide range of services from routine newborn care, sleep difficulties, growth, constipation, asthma, infant feeding to complex medical issues. Our assessments can be provided through one on one consultation with either a paediatrician or a child psychologist. If appropriate, we also offer multidisciplinary assessments where our experienced team of clinicians provide a detailed assessment in a joint session over one to two appointments. Typically, the team will comprise a paediatrician, child psychologist and if required, a speech pathologist. Regular ongoing care and management are routinely offered to focus on providing support for families and to assist your child in achieving their fullest potential.

Dr Robert Leitner is a Consultant in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics and a caring and compassionate doctor. He is the former Director of the Kogarah Developmental Assessment Service, the Metro-Regional Intellectual Disability Network and the Angelman Syndrome Clinic. Dr Leitner has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary diagnostic and assessment clinics for children with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. He is a recognised expert in developing child and family-centred integrated models of care in collaboration with their local communities. Dr Leitner is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and member of the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP). He undertook his medical degree at the University of Sydney and completed his paediatric training at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (now Westmead Childrens Hospital).

Dr. Jane Son is the principal Developmental Paediatrician at Sydney Child Development Specialists and was formerly the Clinical Lead for a Child & Family Health Service within the Northern Sydney Local Health District. With extensive expertise in establishing and leading multidisciplinary teams, Dr. Jane Son has a passion for delivering integrated care in both private and public health settings. Since 2006, she has worked in various private paediatric clinics and tertiary developmental assessment services, including the Child Development Service at Royal North Shore Hospital and the Kogarah Developmental Disability Health Service at St. George Hospital. Dr. Jane holds dual qualifications in Community Child Health, the sub-specialty for Developmental Paediatrics, and General Paediatrics. She is an accredited administrator for the Griffiths III Developmental Scales, ADI-R, and ADOS-2, which are helpful tools for conducting comprehensive developmental assessments. Dr Lewis loves all things paediatric, working with individuals from birth to late adolescence. He has worked at several other institutes in Western Australia in the public and private sector including Joondalup Health Campus, Fiona Stanley Hospital. Dr Karande has worked in various Child Development Centres in Western Australia including Joondalup, Lockridge and Midland. Dr Karande currently works as a Paediatrician at St John Of God, Mount Lawley and Osborne Park Hospital. He does assessments at Autism Association Western Australia.
