Zerynthia is a highly regarded and registered Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW). She has over 15 years of experience in the community services sector delivering quality care to clients (and significant others) in a variety of settings. Zerynthia's warm, compassionate and curious character alongside her knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, has contributed to assisting a wide range of clients in enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life. As an accredited member of the AASW, Zerynthia is also approved by Medicare to offer services through the Better access to Mental Health Care initiative. Zerynthia is passionate about making mental health support both affordable and accessible. Zerynthia offers bulk billing options to ensure that cost is never a barrier to receiving care. Focusing on both adolescent and adult populations, Zerynthia is dedicated to fostering a therapeutic space that is safe, supportive and collaborative. She works closely with her clients to create tailored treatment plans that meet their individual needs and objectives. Her therapeutic strategies are grounded in scientifically supported and evidenced based methods such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), relaxation techniques and breathwork, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), motivational interviewing and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Additionally, Zerynthia brings her years of experience to clinical supervision, guiding fellow professionals and students with empathy and expertise, helping them to grow in their roles and better serve their clients. Zerynthia aims to empower individuals to navigate their challenges with confidence and care and is committed to supporting clients to gain a better understanding of their emotional experiences and align with their core values. Her passion lay in teaching practical tools that empower clients to improve their wellbeing in day to day life alongside building self awareness.
