Amanda (She/Her) is a registered psychologist. She is passionate about evidenced-based practise and skills-based therapy. Amanda’s approach to therapy is client-centred and trauma-informed, which results in meaningful therapeutic relationships and effective outcomes for clients. Outside of psychology, Amanda also enjoys spending time with her pets and bullet journaling.

Hafiza has spent time working as a Child and Family Therapist, before pursuing a master’s in Clinical Psychology. Hafiza has a fascination and deep appreciation for other people’s culture and individuality and enjoys working within client diversity. This fascination led her to pursue formal education in Clinical Psychology, where she acquired a comprehensive understanding of psychological theories, research methodologies, and therapeutic techniques. Hafiza uses an eclectic approach and integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support her clients reach their therapeutic goals. Beyond her professional endeavours, Hafiza values learning lifelong and remains deeply engaged in ongoing professional development and stays up to date in the latest advancements in the field of psychology. Armed with this knowledge, Hafiza intends to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of mental health and interpersonal relationships.

Maria Syed

Meet Maria! She’s a provisional psychologist passionate about helping people live their best lives. Maria is in the third year of her PhD in Psychology and has experience working with adults and adolescents. She’s incredibly kind and empathetic and always puts her clients first. Maria works hard to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore life’s challenges. She combines different evidence-based psychological treatments, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness-based approaches, to provide a holistic and personalised approach to treatment. She is a bilingual psychologist and provides therapy in English and Urdu. She has experience counselling clients and can help you if you’re experiencing difficulties related to the symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, BPD, and panic attacks.

Miss Jothsna Isiah

Jothsna is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Jothsna is a friendly and empathetic psychologist who is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, emotional dys-regulation, interpersonal difficulties, and stress. Jothsna takes a collaborative person-centred approach when working with clients as she believes the client is an expert of their own life and can provide valuable contributions to assist in the treatment process. Jothsna integrates dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) practices in her treatment method. She is experienced at facilitating DBT groups for both adult and adolescent populations and is available to conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments for children and adults. Outside of her role as a psychologist, Jothsna is an avid reader and loves playing with her cats.

Mr Michael Zhang

Michael Zhang has experience in a variety of settings – public and private hospitals, community mental health, universities, and private practice. His special interests include Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sport psychology, and video game addiction.

Ms Prajakta Deshpande

Prajakta Deshpande is a registered psychologist with over eight years of experience providing individual counselling to adults and young people. Prajakta draws upon her natural empathic and compassionate nature, combined with her knowledge and skills in evidence-based practices, to help guide her clients through the empowering and healing process of therapy. She has a personal belief that despite our histories and circumstances we can strive for purpose, fulfillment, and growth. She strives to incorporate this belief in her work by creating an atmosphere of safety and mutual respect for people to overcome difficulties, achieve an increased sense of satisfaction and gain effective control over their lives. Prajakta has experience working with people of different cultures and belief systems which has helped her understand how distress can present and be experienced differently. She views the cultural lens as important when trying to navigate distress, improving quality of life, and reducing symptoms. Prajakta works with a wide range of issues including (but not limited to); anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, grief and loss, anger issues, complex trauma, PTSD, work related issues, acculturative stress, emotional dysregulation. She works collaboratively using an eclectic approach according to the client’s specific needs and preferences which includes: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Rational Emotive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, and relaxation strategies. More recently she has also undertaken level 1 training in EMDR for PTSD and trauma and is passionate about advancing her knowledge and practice in this area. Prajakta has a Master’s in Psychology with Clinical Psychology as her specialisation from India. She has experience working as a psychologist in both India and Australia. Prajakta worked as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine (Homoeopathy) for nearly 10 years before she began her journey into the field of psychology. She also works in a private hospital as a psychologist, conducting group therapy.

Ravneet is a registered psychologist and is passionate about providing mental health support in a non-judgemental and collaborative manner. Her approach is friendly, empathetic, and warm. Ravneet’s main interest areas are depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, adjustment disorder, low self-esteem, and Borderline Personality Disorder. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based and neuro-affirming. Ravneet enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, and reading books outside work.
