Mr Harris Tambakis

Physiotherapist

G'day guys, my name is Harris and I am a proud father of two children and a cat. I have been in the physical therapy world for quite a number of years, first starting out as a remedial massage therapist/allied health assistant all while working and studying towards my goal of becoming a Physiotherapist. I grew up in a Greek household, in the Illawarra, with a love for food and gardening. My relationship with my grandparents (and their siblings) was pretty special and this is where I think my passion for working with the community was born. I love to learn from others and also help anyone that requires it. I have worked in many fields of physiotherapy, from aged care to workers compensation, private practice to sports coverage. I enjoy all aspects, however Aged Care, Occupational Health and Sports Rehabilitation have to be my top picks! I love a good chin-wag, especially surrounding Liverpool FC & rugby league. I look forward to meeting and working with you to achieve your goals!

Mrs Angelique Tambakis

Exercise Physiologist

Hi, my name is Angelique and would argue to be the better half of Tambakis Physiotherapy. Harris and I have two beautiful children and a cat. I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and swim instructor and have always had a passion for resistance training and aquatics. I enjoy being in the gym and lifting heavy weights (deadlifts being my favourite!) however I equally love doing laps in the pool and look forward to the day I will have the time to be back in the water chasing that never-ending black line. Running a business with your other half is no easy feat and we are blessed to be surrounded by a wonderful community that helps make it run smoothly. It is why we built Tambakis Physiotherapy, to 'give back' to community. I have worked in various clinical settings as an AEP, and to this day, enjoy working in oncology rehabilitation and aged care. I also enjoy training the "up-and-coming" gym-goers, teaching them safe and effective lifting techniques to promote longevity in the gym.
