I am a Clinical Psychologist & Director of Kind in Mind. I am passionate about helping individuals to improve their wellbeing, develop adaptive mental skills and manage difficult emotions in order to move toward connection, coping and change.
I have an interest in working across social anxiety, generalised anxiety, stress, depression, and perinatal mental health. I enjoy helping people to navigate life transitions, sense of self, and emotion regulation.
I also work in performance-related challenges, including perfectionism, anxiety, leadership wellbeing, athletic performance, and burnout. I have a special interest helping people to thrive under pressure, and all things to do with the science of psychology to optimise the potential of our brain.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, adapted to individual needs and integrates evidence-based approaches. I draw from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy - with further interest in schema therapy and family systems.
I have a warm, easygoing and empathetic style, I have a strong appreciation for each of our unique backgrounds, and I am deeply invested in helping people to move through emotional and psychological challenges to experience more wellbeing and flourishing.
Ultimately I hope that each of us can gain a better understanding of ourselves, and live a more rich, meaningful and purposeful life.
