Suja Jose Nurse Practitioner

Suja is a Nurse Practitioner and credentialed diabetes educator specialised in obesity, diabetes education and management with over 21 years of clinical nursing experience. She has worked in various senior clinical leadership roles at NSW Health. Suja is passionate about type 2 diabetes and obesity management in the hospital and community setting. Suja values respect, empathy and client-centred care as vital to holistic care delivery. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in obesity, diabetes education and management. Suja graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Master of Nurse Practitioner. She undertook various clinical education including a Master of Advanced Nursing, specialised in diabetes management. Suja has worked in one of the busiest diabetes centres in NSW. She gained invaluable subspecialty experience in obesity management. She has completed her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management and Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing after completion of her Bachelor of Nursing Honors degree. Suja is passionate about providing holistic care. She is caring, kind and determined to work with her clients towards the unified goal of improving and maintaining health.
