Rowena Reynolds Psychologist

Bridge Street Psychology 4/13 Bridge St, Level 1, Epping, New South Wales, 2121

Info

Overview

Rowena is driven by a sound belief in the worth of humanity. Her approach to therapy is both humanistic and existential, which allows her to take a positive approach that applauds human capacities and aspirations whilst concurrently grappling with limitations and difficulties. At the heart of her work is a very concrete understanding of the importance of a therapeutic relationship built on trust, congruence, empathy and unconditional positive regard. Prior to joining Bridge Street Psychology, Rowena worked as a clinical counsellor for over 13 years and as an academic and faculty head, lecturing in Social Science and Counselling. Her work with clients is bolstered by this experience and strengthened by a concrete understanding of psychological difficulties and therapeutic modalities. Rowena is a mother and wife. She has a deep love for animals and nature and spends her free time sailing, doing yoga, reading, travelling and doing graphic design. She is also a volunteer first responder.
