Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Drake is a medical doctor and a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) with sub-specialty training in Consultation–Liaison Psychiatry. Using a recovery-oriented and strengths-based approach, Dr. Drake provides holistic and collaborative evidence-based treatment plans through an educational and trauma-informed lens.

Dr Yu-Tang Shen Consultant Psychiatrist MBBS, M Psych Med , FRANZCP, Cert. Psychotherapies Psych., Cert Old Age Psych, Accredit. Adult Psychiatrist Dr Yu-Tang Shen has an interest in Old Age Psychiatry, and Psychotherapy. He holds a position as Old Age Psychiatrist at the St Vincent’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital as well as Randwick Psychiatry. He completed his Medical degree at The University of Melbourne, and trained in psychiatry at the Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital, and St Vincent’s Hospital. He has been involved in medical teaching, and training coordination as Chief Registrar, and undertaken research in Aboriginal Mental Health. He has had additional training in Old Age Psychiatry, and undertaken a Neuropsychiatry term at the Prince of Wales Hospital. He has undertaken training in psychotherapy, including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, CBT, MBT, DBT and IPT. He is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry, and member of the Faculty of Old Age and Faculty of Psychotherapy. Services Offered Assessment, formulation (psychiatric and psychodynamic) and treatment recommendations for older people, general adult and youth. Psychotherapy – Structured therapy, EMDR, DBT and psychodynamic modalities. Conditions treated – ADHD, memory and cognitive disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, psychosis and personality difficulties.
