Matthew Persello

Psychologist

Matthew specialises in therapy for adolescents (13+ years) and adults, with a strong focus on men’s mental health and the LGBTQIA+ community. His expertise spans anxiety, depression, stress, gender identity and sexuality concerns, relationship challenges, self-esteem, emotional regulation, neurodiversity, and social skills development. Matthew also offers couples counselling, providing a safe space to navigate relational complexities. With a rich educational background, Matthew earned his psychology honours degree through studies in both Australia and the United States. During this time, he conducted a yearlong research project exploring romantic self-sabotage within gender and sexually diverse populations. Matthew takes a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to therapy, tailoring evidence-based techniques to meet the unique needs of his clients. Ms Andri Christoforou

Children and Adolescents Andri is passionate supporting children, young people, and their families to reach their fullest potential and to acquire the appropriate toolbox for mental resilience, and an improved well-being. Andri believe's that every individual is unique in the way they experience life and view the world thus my goal is to attempt and view the world through their perspective and using a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions and life experiences to support them reaching their own therapy goals and their fullest potential. Andri aim's to make the therapeutic journey safe, comfortable and enjoyable by incorporating evidence-based interventions, some creativity, and skills she has learned from drama and improv classes. Oh, and a spark of humour!

Ms Sam Courtney

Sam is a registered psychologist passionate about providing client centred and trauma informed care in a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment. Sam's approach is warm, engaging, and respectful, and she strives to create a judgement free environment where clients can build confidence to improve their broader well-being. Sam's clinical areas of interest are eating disorders, perinatal mental health, co-occurring complex mental health and physiological health presentations (including functional neurological disorder), trauma disorders, and LGBTQIA+ community supports. Sam utilises several evidenced-based therapeutic modalities, including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Sam has also completed specialised training to deliver CBT-E and DBT-E for eating disorder treatment. Sam works with teens (ages 13+) and adults.

Nzubechi Oguoma

Nzubechi has honed her abilities to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for individuals facing various psychological challenges.
