Natalie is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults in various settings. Natalie has worked in primary and high school settings as well as at TAFE and with Headspace. Natalie currently works with individuals 16 years and over with a special interest in treating the following areas: grief and loss, eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, phobias, ADHD, PTSD, Complex PTSD, and perinatal and postnatal anxiety. Natalie is also a AHPRA board approved supervisor who enjoys proving supervision to other psychologists in the areas of intervention and formulation skills on clinical cases as well as business coaching in private practice management.
Natalie holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and is an Accredited EMDR Practitioner, a member of the International Association of Schema Therapy, the Australian Association of Psychologists, and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She also holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Certificate IV in Workplace assessment and training.
Natalie is a registered provider in following Medicare schemes, The Better Access MHCP Scheme, Eating Disorders Treatment Plans, and Peri and Post Natal Medicare schemes.
Natalie employs evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR and Schema Therapy, and is pursuing Accreditation as a Schema Therapist and as an EMDR consultant. Natalie is also a trained facilitator in the Tuning into Kids and Teens programs and enjoys coaching parents of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Self-referrals are welcome, but a valid GP referral allows for a rebate of $96.65 under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or Eating Disorders Treatment Plan. If you have private health insurance, you may also be able to claim some costs. Please ensure you have a valid referral letter from your GP if wanting to claim a rebate.
