Ms Ziver Talat Social Worker

Master of Clinical Family Therapy, Bachelor of Social Work & Bachelor of Arts Ziver is a family therapist and an accredited mental health social worker. She is a member of AASW and a clinical member of the AAFT. Ziver offers counselling to individuals, couples and families as well as clinical supervision to allied health professionals. She has previously worked in tertiary mental health, humanitarian aid agencies abroad and community services with children, young people and families across a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Ziver has over 15 years of clinical experience in areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, neurodiversity, family violence, sexual abuse and life stage transitions. She also has over five years of experience supervising allied health professionals in these areas of practice. Ziver integrates a broad range of therapeutic modalities including systemic family therapies, solution focused, strength based, acceptance and commitment and mindfulness based therapies. She believes a warm and non-judgemental space is essential to allow individuals and family members to safely explore and gain insights into their experiences and those of family members.
