Overview

Ms Ying Huang is a registered Medicare provider and a SIRA WorkCover NSW accredited psychologist. She has been practising psychology in the private sector since 2012. She provides evidence based assessment and treatment under the frameworks of Medicare GP Mental Health Treatment Plan and SIRA (WorkCover NSW and CTP injury claims). Her work focuses on applying schema therapy to adults, couples, families and adolescents for a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, work stress, injury management, chronic pain, grief & loss and family relationship difficulty. She have particular interests and experiences in treating Adult Mood Disorders and Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Rehabilitation counselling. She is bilingual and provides treatment in both English and Chinese Mandarin. She provides services in a warm, supportive and culturally sensitive context.

  • BSc(Psych), PGDPsych, MAPS, MAPN. Registered Medicare provider, WorkCover NSW accredited psychologist

Accreditations

  • Registered Medicare provider, WorkCover NSW (SIRA) accredited psychologist
  • Undertaking training to become an Accredited Schema Therapy Practitioner with the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST)
