Overview

Tiffany Allen is a clinical psychologist who enjoys working with people of all ages. She strives to create a warm, inviting and safe environment that encourages collaborative problem-solving and healing. Over the years, Tiffany has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and community mental health services for children and adults, oncology services, academic support services, Out-of-Home Care clinical services, and private practice. While working with a broad range of clients, presentations and difficulties, Tiffany has special interests in complex trauma, perinatal mental health, child and adult AD/HD, behavioural difficulties, parenting, relationship and attachment difficulties, and grief and bereavement. In addition to holding a Masters of Clinical Psychology, she has completed additional training in the following evidence-based therapeutic approaches and areas of intervention: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Attachment-based psychotherapy (eg, Circle of Security), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Grief and Bereavement (child, adolescent, adult and complex), CBT for Older Adults (adults 65+), and Perinatal Mental Health Tiffany is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement and the National Council for Family Relations (USA). Tiffany is a Medicare provider and holds registration with the national governing body for psychologists, the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg # PSY0001821471).
