Sophia (Longkai; she/her) is a warm, approachable, and down-to-earth psychologist who believes in the innate wisdom each client possesses, even if it’s not always immediately recognised. She is committed to helping clients uncover and embrace this inner knowledge, guiding them on their path to personal growth and self-understanding. Sophia's therapeutic approach is non-authoritative, creating a space of unconditional positive regard where clients feel truly supported. Her practice is informed by evidence-based methods, incorporating principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.
Sophia provides individualised therapy for children, adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds with a passion for supporting clients facing challenges such as ASD, ADHD, stress, anxiety disorders, interpersonal issues, and trauma.
She has worked in the NDIS space and can help clients build their capacity to improve their daily living.
Sophia can deliver treatment in English and Mandarin.
Sophia works at Greensborough on Thursday and Friday, and via Telehealth.
