Providing individual therapy and counselling for adults Australia wide via telehealth. Sharon is an experienced Psychologist, who is professional, caring, compassionate, and empathic. She has a keen interest in people, and she is genuinely interested in hearing about her clients’ life experiences. She provides a supportive and safe environment to discuss sensitive topics, helping her clients to gain deeper insight into themselves, their behaviour patterns, and self-beliefs, improve their wellbeing and relationships with others, and achieve their therapeutic goals. Sharon has experience providing evidence-based assessment and therapy with clients with a wide range of psychological presentations, aged 3 years to 104 years of age, in individual and group sessions, within the community, aged care, and private practice settings. Sharon has full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and she is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists inc (AAPi) and the Australian Psychology Society (APS). Sharon uses a person-centred approach throughout counselling and therapy sessions, using evidenced based therapies tailored to individual’s needs and personal goals using a collaborative and supportive approach that is therapeutic and culturally sensitive, and LGBTIQ+ friendly. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches in her practice, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (ITP), Reminiscence Therapy, and strength-based, solution focused and expressive therapies, plus skill building, and more. ​ Sharon is currently available for telehealth sessions for adults Australia-wide.

  • Bachelor of Biomedical Science
  • Advanced Diploma of Biomedical Science

Certifications

  • Completion of an AHPRA approved internship program of supervised practice and training spanning three years.
