Sandra Hartmann is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2006, and was endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013.
She is experienced in all areas of general psychology, and in assessing and treating post-traumatic stress injuries in adults . She is registered as a Psychologist and a Supervisor with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian and International Societies for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS/ASTSS). She is trained in a range of recognised therapeutic treatments for PTSD, including EMDR and CPT, Image Rescripting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Sandra worked as a senior practitioner with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VVCS) and with the Australian Defence Force for 12 years and has recently worked as a FIFO psychologist in the Perth metropolitan and East Pilbara regions providing services for FIFO and remote residential mining employees and their families.
She has also worked with adults with work-related physical and psychological injuries, and with range of issues including returning to/maintaining employment, adjusting to disability, and living with chronic pain. Sandra completed her Master’s thesis researching CBT group programs for post-natal depression, and also has a strong interest in post-natal wellbeing and parenting issues.
