Overview

Payal is a registered Clinical Psychologist and an EMDR Trained Therapist, who is passionate about working with adult (18+) population from diverse cultural background and holds extensive experience working with range of mental health difficulties. While Payal is passionate about helping her clients with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks and low self esteem, she also has a special interest in treating difficulties related to recent and past trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, recurring nightmares, dissociation, adult survivors of childhood neglect and abuse, long term unhelpful patterns of relationship and/or behaviour. Leading with compassion and curiosity, she uses an integrative approach to wellness that is grounded in and guided by Trauma informed care and interventions. She utilises Attachment based interventions, Somatic approaches, Ego State Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) based "Parts" work, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) , in conjunction with other evidence based approaches.
