Nishie is Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). She holds dual expertise in occupational psychology and clinical psychology areas of practice. Currently she works in an organisational setting delivering wellbeing programs and strategy as well as clinical private practice work.
She has experience working with WorkCover, Comcare, TAC, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), life insurance, and in private practice she works with a range of presenting issues. Some of these include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, mood disorders, adjustment / stressor related issues and relationships. She has extensive experience in occupational wellbeing, strategy development, psychological injury management, critical incident response and wellness promotion.
Nishie’s clients include adolescents, young adults and adults under the age of 40, as she is passionate about empowering young people to develop early mental health and wellness skills. She draws upon a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. She is skilled in psychological assessments for diagnostic clarification.
