Ms Nina Linder Counsellor

Nina Linder is a highly qualified and experienced Counsellor having completed a Master of Counselling. She is a member of Australian Counselling Association and works in various settings with adults, couples, families, youth and children. Nina’s primary focus is stress and trauma (including childhood abuse and neglect, sexual assault, domestic violence) at all stages of life and how this can negatively impact people’s lives. Nina has a respectful and compassionate manner to support clients to explore different aspects and increase self-awareness. Through this process, a deeper reflection of thoughts and feelings can allow clients gain understanding of their past and present situation. Nina works with you within a safe and confidential environment with the aim of improving a client’s overall health and well-being. The hardships in life can disrupt where one wants to be and cause emotional pain and distress. At times, people caught in these personally harmful situations need a supportive and professional counsellor to guide them to a more fulfilling life experience. Nina can help you achieve this by using evidence-based therapies and theories such as Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Art and Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Feminist Theory and Polyvagal Theory.
