Melissa has worked across a diverse range of sectors within the field of Psychology since 2005, including research in wellbeing, social services, schools, EAPs and in private practice. She has worked in leadership roles, as well as working independently and as a board approved supervisors she has experience supervising psychologists, counsellors and social workers. She provides short and long-term therapy depending on her client’s needs. As a therapist, Melissa is warm and nurturing and provides a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their challenges.
Melissa has a particular interest in treating depression and anxiety, perinatal mental health, family of origin issues, women’s mental health including perimenopause and menopause, life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss and existential concerns. Melissa works with adolescents (13+), and adults.
