Overview

Megan Rodgers is a registered psychologist who has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice), Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies, Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) (Honours), Juris Doctor (LLM) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and has been admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Megan has experience in forensic settings, where she delivered psychological therapy in a prison in both an individual and group format, as well as a range of assessments including intelligence assessments, personality and risk assessments. Megan has worked in the disability employment services sector, assessing barriers to employment and addressing these. Megan also has experience in mental health community support services, specifically homelessness services, and addressing the broad range of vulnerabilities present in these cases. Megan also currently works in assessment and referral of clients to mental health services and alcohol and other drug treatment. Megan is experienced in the conduct of psychological assessment and report writing in various contexts including child protection, victims of crime, social security review and criminal defence matters. Megan has published literature relating to intellectual disability in the criminal justice system, and the efficacy of drug and alcohol programs with prisoners.
