Kristie completed a Bachelor of Science in 2000, majoring in Psychology with Honours. She also obtained Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and Public Policy. She is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist. Kristie is trained in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
Kristie has over 20 years experience working as a Psychologist. She has worked in a diverse range of settings including rural mental health, juvenile justice custodial, child and family health, and private practice. She has experience in assessment and management of developmental disorders (such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Specific Learning Disorders). Kristie is comfortable working with a wide range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. She is also keen to support neurodiverse children, adolescents and adults and their families.
