Kirsty Terry Clinical Psychologist BBSC., Postgrad Dip. Psych., MPsych (Clinical) Qualifications Kirsty is a Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of experience in both the public and private mental health sectors. Kirsty holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology. She is currently completing a doctoral degree in Public Health at La Trobe University in Melbourne. Working experience Kirsty has worked across a wide range of public health and mental health settings, including community health, government, schools, hospital services, and private practice. She adopts an evidence-based approach in her work and has extensive training and experience in treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), neuropsychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is also trained in the delivery of a range of perinatal and parenting programs including Circle of Security, Tuning in to Kids and Tuning in to Teens. Kirsty takes a holistic approach to her work and has a warm, compassionate manner. She enjoys supporting clients to improve their quality of life and relationships and reach their full potential. She is experienced in the provision of telehealth services to increase accessibility and convenience of treatment. Membership and Affiliations Member of the Australian Psychological Society Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists Special Interest Kirsty is available to treat a wide range of issues including (but not limited to) depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, grief and loss, alcohol and drug issues, ADHD, trauma, personality disorders and life transitions. She has a special interest in women’s mental health, perinatal mental health, anxiety disorders, adolescent mental health, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
