Overview

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST and CLINICAL SUPERVISOR I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience. I assist individuals, couples and families with emotional and life difficulties to understand and manage their problems, and work towards achieving positive change, good mental health and well-being. I specialise in all areas of emotional difficulty and mental health including affective disorders such as Major Depression, Bipolar Affective Disorder and PND, the anxiety disorders such as social anxiety disorder, fears and phobias, OCD as well as perinatal disorders, grief and loss, trauma, substance abuse and dependence. I also work with couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship, who wish to improve the quality of their relating. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I also see young people between the ages of 13 and 25 at Headspace in Frankston. I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness practice. I am informed by evidence based treatments in all of my work, including the personality disorders. I have significant expertise and experience in working with those experiencing symptoms consistent with Borderline Personality Disorder and do short term and long term therapy interventions. I work in a collaborative and sensitive manner with patients and use evidence based treatments to achieve effective change and well-being, tailored to the individual, couple, or family. I am also on the approved list of supervisors for all levels of psychological supervision for the PsyBA, including clinical psychology endorsement.
