Anna is a caring psychologist dedicated to helping people improve their mental health issues and well-being. Offering counselling to clients of diverse backgrounds, from adolescents to adults, through to the older community; her goal is to help them live richer and happier lives that are uniquely meaningful to them.
With her career spanning over 20 years, Anna has gained expansive experience in helping individuals in a range of psychological issues. Anna’s therapy is holistic and integrative, drawing from a range of evidence based psychological interventions that cater to the needs and goals of the individual person. Her approach to therapy considers her client’s background history, current life experiences, challenges, strengths and goals. She works primarily within an Attachment based framework utilising Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Existential Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
Anna understands that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is crucial to facilitating positive change. Providing a supportive therapeutic space, enables her clients to safely explore and gain a better understanding of themselves and their difficulties. Her goal is to work collaboratively with her clients, assisting them to find more helpful ways of responding to and managing their challenging situations. Anna believes that everyone has the capacity to change, and her approach to therapy can empower her clients to make meaningful changes that can enrich their life experiences and well-being.
