Angie is a registered psychologist with AHPRA. She has a Certificate of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Cairnmillar Institute) and is an Accredited Triple P-Positive Parenting Provider. She works with individuals, couples and families, and has experience counselling a diverse range of clients within public mental health settings, schools, and hospitals.
Angie takes a person-centred approach to her work and draws on a range of evidence-based psychological interventions which are tailored to the needs of the individual client. These include: CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution-Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness. However, Angie believes that the relationship between herself and the client is the most important element for facilitating growth and change.
Angie always strives to develop a safe and trusting relationship with her clients, and does this by actively listening to their concerns, and bringing a warm, empathetic, supportive and intuitive approach to counselling.
