Smitha Sugathan is an experienced Director and Mental Health Practitioner with over 13 years of expertise in supporting children (10+), adolescents, adults, and the elderly with complex mental health needs. A postgraduate from Flinders University, Adelaide, she has worked across diverse sectors, including private, public, health, forensic, and non-profit organizations. As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and AASW member, Smitha leads Insight Clinic with a client-centric approach, offering tailored therapeutic interventions such as CBT, Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy, DBT, and mindfulness strategies.
