Sandra is gentle, warm and accepting in her approach. She sees clients of all ages and is committed to providing a space where clients feel safe and comfortable to disclose their unique challenges. Her passion lies in supporting and empowering individuals to heal, develop insight and adapt by offering the skills to master their experiences, thoughts, feelings, relationships and problems in healthier ways. Ultimately, Sandra aims to assist clients to become their own practitioner so they can create positive changes in their lives.
Sandra is a registered psychologist and has experience in working with clients of various ages, cultures and backgrounds. Her special interests are depression, anxiety, adjustment, grief and loss, relationship challenges, stress, anger, low self-esteem, parenting support, and chronic pain. While she tailors treatments to individuals, she draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Interpersonal Therapy.
Sandra completed a Master of Professional Psychology at the Australian Catholic University, a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science at Bond University, and a Bachelor of Psychology at Monash University. Sandra is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
