Overview

Karolina is a registered psychologist and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney. She is completing her registrar program to become an endorsed clinical psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Karolina has a passion for helping people with various mood and anxiety concerns and has also helped clients who are struggling with grief, disordered eating, and addictions. Karolina has experience working in a private mental-health hospital running group and individual therapy sessions, and in university clinic settings. She has also delivered parent management programs for parents of children with behavioural issues associated with autism and/or oppositional-defiance. Additionally, she has a keen interest in career coaching and counselling. Along with her warm and non-judgemental approach, Karolina primarily utilises evidence-based treatment strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, and tailors treatment to each client’s individual needs.
