Living in the heart of the West Wimmera rural community, Carine is a dedicated and passionate registered counsellor who is committed to enhancing the mental well-being of residents. She believes in the power of connection, compassion, confidentiality and respect. With a warm, respectful demeanour, she creates a safe space where individuals can explore their feelings and experiences without judgment and use their own strengths to address the lows in their life. Her personalised approach ensures that each client feels heard, valued, and understood. With a Master in Counselling and ongoing professional development, Carine offers support based on current research and best practice. She uses a blend of evidence-based approaches and has experience in building resilience, supporting people with ASD and ADHD, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, stress management, anxiety, depression, addiction, parenting, grief and loss as well as transition and adjustment issues. Recognising the importance of accessibility, Carine offers flexible appointment times and can accommodate both in-person and online sessions. This commitment ensures that everyone in the community has the opportunity to prioritise their mental health. She is also a provider for private health funds Bupa, Medibank, HCF, ahm, and ARHG (Police Health Fund, Emergency Services Health, Phoenix Health, St Lukes Health, GMHBA, CUA Health, Teachers Union Health, AIA and Westfund).

  • Master in Education (Guidance and Counselling) - University of Southern Queensland, Eye Movement Integration Therapist (training in progress), Triple P - Fear-Less Facilitator, Postgraduate Certificate in Education, Honours in Human Resource Development
