Bronwyn utilises a positive, client centred approach to psychological intervention. She is dedicated to establishing a collaborative therapeutic relationship with her clients, and tailors her therapeutic approach to specifically meet the individual need of the client. Bronwyn utilises elements from various modalities to help clients make positive changes in their lives. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing and Interpersonal Therapy.
Bronwyn works across the lifespan and has an extensive history working in private practice settings, as well as over 12 years in educational settings, specifically with children and adolescents. When working with children and adolescents, she often incorporates elements of Play, Art and Narrative Therapies to develop rapport and trust, providing younger clients with a non-verbal alternative to talk-based therapy. Bronwyn also has strong skills in the assessment of learning, behavioural and emotional difficulties, and working with families to implement effective interventions for positive change.
