Mr Wayne Stevens Counsellor

Wayne has been counselling for 13 years since for qualifying as a counsellor in 2008. He has worked in many realms and has a vast life experience. Prior to going back to university to study counselling he worked as and ICU nurse which he still does 2 days per week. In 2016 he went back to University and received a Master of Counselling to up his skills. He has conducted over 1000hrs of counselling face to face as well as in group and couple settings. Wayne has also used his skills while working in the setting of Organ Donation. One of Wayne’s roles has been working with men in crisis with the Centre of Men Australia. CFMA is a Not-for-profit group that focuses on men’s wellbeing. During his time with them he was instrumental in bringing programs from the US that helped young men in need. Wayne mainly uses client centred, expressive and narrative therapies to help you address different life problems. He is well versed in a multitude of modalities and is able to help no matter what the issue. Wayne has got a wife of 30 years and 3 grown children.
