Steve is a registered psychologist with experience in both school and clinic settings. He is passionate about working collaboratively with young people, parents, and schools to identify and support learning difficulties, mental health, and wellbeing. He has specific interests in learning disorders (reading, writing, mathematics), neurodevelopmental disorders (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder), social skills and emotional regulation.Steve provides comprehensive cognitive, educational, and social-emotional-behavioural assessments to determine a young person’s strengths and weaknesses and guide intervention planning and strategies that are accessible for parents, schools, and the young person. Steve also provides counselling services that utilise evidence-based practices (such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing) to achieve therapeutic goals, promote personal strengths, and support wellbeing and positive development across the lifespan.Steve completed a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) at Monash University and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
