Scott holds a Master's degree in Counselling, and has a commitment to advancing his expertise in mental health. Possessing a mature outlook and a diverse skill set, he offers a unique and insightful perspective in his practice.
With a background spanning over 20 years in the culinary industry, Scott underwent a significant career transition to dedicate himself to mental health support. Alongside his extensive experience, he has a solid foundation as a Yoga teacher, bringing a holistic approach to his therapeutic work.
Scott has previously contributed to the well-being of individuals across all age groups, particularly those with disabilities. His passion lies in guiding individuals on their mental health journey in partular in the areas of stress reduction, relationships, workplace conflict and addiction. His approach is client centred with a focus on empowering individuals by providing them with the tools and systems necessary to achieve their goals.
At Ashcliffe, as well as providing individual and relationship counselling Scott is a facilitator of the Matrix Addiction treatment program. His experience in working with addictions enables him to support couples where substance use is becoming a wedge in the relationship, and family members who are struggling with a loved one's substance use.
