Having completed a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, and having worked in a wide range of Strength & Conditioning and Rehabilitation positions at the elite and sub-elite levels of sport and within progressive clinical settings has allowed me to develop a specialised Rehabilitation & Performance service at Melbourne Fitness & Performance.
I have been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of clientele and organisations, including the Western Bulldogs, Badminton Australia, Basketball Victoria, and the Knox Football Club. Clinical experience includes Epworth Hospital (Hawthorn), Cerebral Palsy Support Network and Baker IDI at the Alfred Hospital.
Currently I am the Rehabilitation & Performance Coach at Melbourne Fitness & Performance, Exercise Physiologist at Melbourne Yoga & Pilates, and the Head of Strength & Conditioning and Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Knox Football Club (EFL Division 2).
My personal take on Rehabilitation & Performance is that a multi-disciplinary approach is crucial to taking a client-centred approach, and my programming reflects my continual liaising with Biomechanists, Osteopaths, Myotherapists, Physiotherapists, General Practitioners, Dieticians, and a variety of other specialists key to implementing a holistic program aiming to improve our athlete, client, or patient's function and get them back to what they love doing most!
