James is a registered psychologist who is passionate about creating a warm, safe and non-judgemental space to build on client’s strengths in order to improve their wellbeing.
James works with adolescents and adults and has particular interest/experience in the
following areas:

Adolescent issues (including school issues, relationships, bullying, self-harm and suicidal ideation)
Management of ADHD-related issues
Alcohol and other drug concerns
Addiction issues (gambling, internet/video game addiction)

Interpersonal and relational difficulties
Self-esteem issues
Stress
Sleep difficulties
James likes to work alongside his clients to explore strategies and different ways of thinking to build towards a more rich and full life – whatever that may look like.
He welcomes clients from any background, gender identity or sexual orientation. He welcomes referrals for clients 12 years and older.
James utilises an integrative approach, and draws from CBT, ACT, DBT and attachment/psychodynamic frameworks to suit his client’s needs.
James currently has availability on Mondays and Tuesdays, including after hours appointments.
